Always use encryption at rest for OpenVPN storage

We’re making the use of encryption at rest our default and only option for OpenVPN storage. Until now it was enabled by default, but it was still possible to disable it.

In our effort to increase the security of our reference solution and that of our customers infrastructure, we’re enabling encryption at rest for all our infrastructure components.

You don’t need to take any further actions regarding this matter. We’ll progressively roll out the update on all OpenVPN setups. You might see some minor downtime on your VPN connections while the migration takes place.
