On AWS EKS clusters we use Calico for providing NetworkPolicy functionality. With these NetworkPolicies you can control the traffic flow within a Kubernetes cluster between Pods, Services and external resources.
In earlier versions we used the AWS provided Helm chart for installing Calico, but now we’ve migrated to the Tigera operator. Calico itself has been upgraded from v3.15.4 to v3.20.0.
These changes have already been rolled out on non-production clusters. Production rollouts will follow in the next days.
