We are rolling out EKS v1.31. Please make sure to update to our recommended client versions matching this upgrade.
Timeline:
- Testing & rollout to non-production clusters has happened in the past days
 - Production rollouts are expected to finish at the end of next week
 - Update this changelog when everything is finished
 
Important changes between K8s 1.30 and 1.31
This release focusses on internals and several of those features have now graduated to stable or beta:
- Improved ingress connectivity reliability for kube-proxy
 - Changes to reclaim policy for PersistentVolumes
